Honestly, I didn’t want to write the exam after my first class. I was scared it was all too much. But the way the classes were broken down and structured made it easier. Beyond amazing tools like the website, ACEMEDIX carried our matter on their heads. They did everything possible to make sure we were ready, physically, mentally and knowledge-wise. At ACEmedix, your success is their business.

Acemedix made my life easier.i made friends in class and I had group study partners in abuja and online from my ISS group.People i didn't meet till I was in Kano. A big thank you to Dr. Kingsley. He was always there to run through physical examinations and correct with care. The recalls helped as well as the Quiz and randomizers. My advice,make sure you pray and over pray. Make sure you ransack the entire website. Watch Dr. Dozie's videos,go through clinchers,do every question under Quiz and read up on every question you didn't get right,do recall as well. Once you've ransacked the website at least twice,the questions will look very familiar. Easiest way to not make it overwhelming is to start doing questions as soon as possible(50 every morning after prayers,that's 20 mins) and record the amount of questions you do on the acemedix worksheet.it will give you more ginger to answer more. I joined the Acemedix crash course with 5 weeks to the exam, Everyone thought it impossible. The Acemedix website and exposure to other doctors with the same goal played a huge role. All i can say is "Acemedix community did what it does best 💯."

First and Foremost I’d like to appreciate God Almighty for a successful journey. God had everything planned out and I am just marvelled at how everything played out. When I came back to Nigeria, I didn’t come to stay. it was just a visit after graduating medical school. After some time my family asked me to get my license here before I leave Nigeria. I didn’t know what to do and had zero informations about the whole MDCN exam. Lots of people recommended Acemedix to me. My friends, doctors I met where I was doing my observaship too. I joined Acemedix barely six weeks to the exam, and looking back now, I can confidently say it was one of the best decisions I made on this journey. Wow! I can’t put into words how grateful I am to Acemedix and the tutors. I had only about two months to prepare from this exam. I went from having little to no confidence to clerking and counseling like it was my second nature. The tutors were always so patient and encouraging. Even if you fumble, they’ll find a way to correct you without making you feel stupid and Dr. Zoe never left anyone behind. One of the best parts for me was when Dr. Livinus made timetables for us and told us to adjust based on our capabilities. I began the tutorials ending of August 2019 when i came back home. I was already 15 classes late as the tutorials started earlier in July.Was actually contemplating if i should join or not cause i was already late.I reluctantly joined as there was no other option for me in Port harcourt. I was way behind my mates. They had already gone far with some clerking and counselling topics and were already so fluent with them. Then I thought to myself, 'Will I be able to meet up?' The 1st OSCE mock I did in AceMedix was like a nightmare cause it was just the 1st week I came. I didn’t understand what was going on,but was encouraged by one of the tutors who told me that I actually did well, being my first time. After the mock I pledged to myself to watch the revision videos for the missed classes so I can get my stand in class.Those videos really helped me a lot. I must say i was able to cover a lot of topics even without finishing the Guide. I kept praying and asking God for his grace as i already knew that the exam wasn’t about how much one knows.I kept on using Ace Medix materials and guidelines, didnt have time to go through other materials. I just read some relevant ones like Pediatrics in pics,Instruments and study groups. With the next OSCE mock,my confidence level came up a bit. I got better at my understanding of the exam,especially the time factor.I endeavored to finish all the revision videos so i didn’t miss relevant topics. I must tell you, one of the questions in the exam came from there(Ante-natal booking clerking). I also kept on practicing my physical exam as it was emphasized during the tutorial, that if we dont practice,it will leave us. Ace Medix played a huge role in my success as the classes were well structured to cover relevant aspects of the exam. Story for another day, but I didn’t write my mdcn when i should have and had been at home too long. I had lost touch with medicine. I could not remember everything I studied for 7 years of my life. I tried to study on my own but i was drowning in the sheer volume and bulk of the reading materials. I will admit there was alot of crying around that time until a friend suggested i join a tutorial class to help me cover faster, and i might make a few friends to study with. Said friend now recommended ACEMEDIX for me. I called Dr Livinus and he gave me the address. I joined the 8week crash course 2 weeks late. I arrived lost, hopeless and demoralized. Honestly, Acemedix contributed a lot to my success story. I was supposed to write the MDCN exams in November 2018, but something happened and I couldn’t write it. I didn’t want to write this exam. I was afraid that I was going to fail. I’d failed an exam before and it took a really long time for me to get over it. But then I started Acemedix. Dr Livinus has always been a very intelligent individual and an exceptional teacher right from our days in university. He did a lot of informal teaching and tutorials in school, and the very fascinating thing about his teaching was the fact that every single thing he taught me stuck and I never forgot it. When I started my Acemedix journey, I had zero confidence about passing the MDCN exams. My clerking and counselling were below par. I was terrible at x-rays and instruments.
