I’ve always felt confident I would ace the MDCN exam with AceMedix! With the MDCN recall practice and OSCE sessions with other members of AceMedix, it felt like a guaranteed penalty shot on goal! I was 100% confident in the AceMedix materials and didn’t bother reading too many other books like most people did. I just practiced the recalls as Dr. Livinus advised, and with prayers to God Almighty, Jehovah Jireh, it ended in praise. First, I want to thank God for granting me success. I began the tutorials ending of August 2019 when i came back home. I just read some relevant ones like Pediatrics in pics,Instruments and study groups. With the next OSCE mock,my confidence level came up a bit. I got better at my understanding of the exam,especially the time factor.I endeavored to finish all the revision videos so i didn’t miss relevant topics. I must tell you, one of the questions in the exam came from there(Ante-natal booking clerking). We were still preparing for our final exams in Med school when our friends who already wrote MDCN called us and told us how intensively we would need to prepare for MDCN exam. They told us to start reading immediately, told us how you literally can’t have a life during preparations for the exam. I sing in the choir and someone even told me during the preparation I couldn’t join the choir or do anything else but read. To be honest I wasn’t moved one bit, I felt I was going to be alright. Story for another day, but I didn’t write my mdcn when i should have and had been at home too long. I had lost touch with medicine. I could not remember everything I studied for 7 years of my life. I tried to study on my own but i was drowning in the sheer volume and bulk of the reading materials. I will admit there was alot of crying around that time until a friend suggested i join a tutorial class to help me cover faster, and i might make a few friends to study with. Going to Acemedix was one of the best decisions I made about my medical licensing exams. I didn’t have to read broad and wide, because all the high-yield topics, mock examinations and clerking given during the tutorial were focused for the exams. All I had to do was read lectures given in class and search a few things for clarification. I would recommend Acemedix to anyone writing the MDCN exam.

I joined Acemedix in the beginning of July, 2018 with the hope that I would blast MDCN. I even attended the National Hospital program where I paid 200 thousand naira. I was sure that being involved in the tutorial and rotation in the hospital would make me pass without stress. I missed some days of the tutorials, but there was one thing Dr. Livinus would always do, he would take the classes and do revisions. I wasn’t the go back to my book person. They literally asked me “So you have all this and yet you didn’t make it?” They took the notes went home and copied into theirs. We went all out with that note. And guess what? We all made it. Hello, my name is Maryam Ahmed Yusufari. I was referred to Acemedix by a friend who had passed the exam in one sitting. Believe me, I have no regrets about joining Acemedix! My experience at Acemedix was amazing. Dr. Livinus and his team didn’t just teach us how to pass the exam, but they also taught us how to build our confidence and believe in ourselves. Three to four months ago, if someone had told me I’ll pass this exam in one sitting, I would’ve laughed at that person. Fast forward to today, I’m now a Doctor licensed to practice in Nigeria and my country of study. This wouldn’t have been possible without the guidance and watchful eyes of my tutors at Acemedix. It’s been a difficult/interesting ride but we thank God it’s over! Special thanks to Dr. Livinus and Acemedix! I didn’t make it the first time but I accepted the result quickly and moved on. I failed the MDCN exam on my first attempt. I was sure I did everything humanly possible. I attended supposedly good tutorials, went to NHA for rounds, read till I was going to drop, and I still failed. I fell into depression. Then I came to Acemedix and I knew immediately I was at the right place. The difference was clear. Everything was exam-focused. Unlike how I sat for long monotonous lectures at my previous tutorials and NHA, I was actually prepared specifically towards the MDCN exam. I was torn between signing up for hospital practice in one of the teaching hospitals and going for tutorials. To say this tutorial was of great help is an understatement. This was more than a tutorial, it was a family. The undivided attention, the concern, the love and, most of all, the hard work! When I failed, it looked like my whole world was crumbling because I never experienced what failure was like before. But then came the news about Acemedix via a friend. I thought it was just like other tutorials, but on starting, I felt the difference. Interactive, educative, explanatory, and focused on the MDCN. Coming back to Nigeria two years ago, I had no guidemap on how to approach the MDCN exam. I came back to Nigeria quite uncertain on how to go about the MDCN exam. This was my very first time enrolling for a tutorial class to sit for the MDCN exam, and I chose Acemedix because two doctors who passed the previous time recommended it to me on different occasions. I made up my mind to do the MDCN in March, but I had so many other things I was pursuing. I was referred to Acemedix by a friend. I decided to join the crash course that started in late March. Honestly, Dr. Livinus’ approach was amazing. The first thing I picked up from the classes was a statement that helped me immensely. I arrived Nigeria late August, without having any clue on how to prepare for the MDCN exam, was referred to ACE medical tutorials (owned by Doctor Livinus) by a friend. When I started Acemedix tutorials I didn’t know squat about picture tests but with his tutorials I didn’t have to cram picture tests—which was my game plan. It got so easy for me that I could not only identify pictures easily, but I could also say a few things about a picture even before reading the question! He also gave us a good foundation on clerking that even without reading a topic you’d be able to clerk at least 70% on your worse day. Now just imagine what you’d do on your best day. His tutorials were really exam focused and no hospital would prepare you as much for this exam. So, I’d definitely recommend him to anyone.

De“First of all, I have to say that this tutorial was far more valuable than I expected. What we paid was peanuts compared to the degree of dedication and work that Dr Livinus put in. Our classes were well-planned (3 times a week), with an online arrangement for people who couldn't attend live classes. Every week, we had high-yield OSCES, MCQS and clerking, counselling and physical examinations practice, distributed into the 3 days of live classes. High-yield topics were well-dissected during corrections of these practice sessions. Lectures were also given occasionally, but the emphasis was on mastering the MDCN format (MCQS, OSCE stations, clerking, counselling and physical examinations). Mock exams were held in accordance with the MDCN format. Dr Livinus was available round the clock for our questions, in and outside the classroom. His technique was so good that some friends who attended other were always excited about getting his OSCE materials. Honestly, we got the best value for our money. Learning from Dr Livinus was a rescue for me. I had lots of difficulties. I was very weak with my MCQs, he took his time to walk me through all of it. After the classes I would still message or call and he’d attend to the areas of concern. Before the tutorials ended, I had improved remarkably not only in my MCQs, but my clerking, counseling and examinations were also top notch. One of the most important aspects for me is his constant encouragement, he made me believe in myself even when I thought I knew very little. I learnt to overcome my fear in standing in front of everyone and clerk or counsel or perform an examination.
